Josi joined early 2019 our group and finished her Master Thesis about organizing and grouping locations expressed by specific geographic coordinates. This is important, when, for instance, a person uses a health tracker, such as a wearable, in order to measure and record different measures, including heart rate, step number etc. The overall goal is to collect data and associate them to position with a much lower resolution allowing us to interpret the health-related data according to geographic locations. Therefore, Josi designed the CluPlaR algorithm that she implemented and evaluated on a test set. She introduced this work on the recent Junior Research Conference.
